A stunning show at the Napa Valley Barrel Auction during an afternoon of bullish bidding resulted in BRAND taking home the top case bid of $9050! Two of three top lots were from wineries on Pritchard Hill with BRAND’s ten cases garnering a whopping total of $83,050 followed by Shafer’s strong second at $55,000 and Continuum rounding out the top three at $52,750. Auction Napa Valley broke records over the weekend with a total of $18.7 million dollars raised for local charities. The wine, a barrel sample from the 2012 vintage, is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Cabernet Franc. “We are stunned and grateful for this incredible show of support for BRAND, our wine community and The Napa Valley” said Ed Fitts, proprietor of BRAND.
