2010 Vintage Release from Verite Winery
The 2010 growing season was a mild year, with cool nights, sunny days and low humidity, thanks to the influence of the Pacific Ocean. We started harvest on September 25, 2010, with Malbec and Merlot from our Chalk Hill vineyard. We closed out the harvest on October 16, 2010, with the last blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley.
Our 2010 vintage continues the remarkable progression in the quality of Vérité wines — a level of quality that could not be achieved without extraordinary teamwork and skill, starting with our vineyard crew and continuing through to our cellar team, who support Vérité winemaking with their exceptional talent and professionalism. Their dedication to quality shines in the wines we produce at Vérité.
The wines are elegant and complex, possessing superb concentration of flavor and color. These are wines meant to age over the next thirty years and will develop greater depth and character in your cellar.
